Simon, Scott and Sean Drove to Mongolia!
View the route we took via Live Tracking
On July 14th we (Simon, Sean and Scott) started a 11,737 mile journey (by car) from the UK to Mongolia, as part of the Mongol Rally 2012. We completed the rally on August 27th, in 45 days!
We drove through some of the remotest terrain on the planet, in some of the world's most hazardous regions! It was a challenging test for the car, our sanity and Scott's facial hair growth…
We blogged throughout our adventure, uploaded photos to our Gallery and videos to our YouTube channel. You can also see the route we took on our Live Tracking Google map.
ALL donations we received went DIRECTLY to our chosen charities (Alzheimer's Research UK and The Lotus Children's Centre), and WE covered the costs of the journey (car, petrol etc.) ourselves.

Our Car The Mongol Rally isn't about comfort and it doesn't have a great deal to do with style. The whole point is that it's difficult, so big 4x4's are completely unacceptable! To tackle the worst roads in the world you must have a 'car' with an engine size of under 1.2 litres (ish). Read more...
